Devonport Food & Wine Festival

Je ne sais pas comment on a fait ça. Après la grosse cuite du Dancing In The Street, on a remis ça le lendemain - le lendemain matin. On a dormi tout habillé, on s'est levés à 10h toujours aussi bourrés, et on s'est mis en route pour Devonport vers 11h, toujours habillés comme la veille et toujours aussi bourrés... Inutile de préciser que la courte traversée en bateau pour atteindre Devonport ne fut pas des plus faciles...

A Devonport (j'étais avec Char et Guillaume), on y était car c'était le Food & Wine Festival. On a ainsi pu savourer d'excellents vins de tout le pays tout en écoutant les différents groupes qui animaient la journée, dans un cadre idyllique (un park au bord de la plage) et sous un soleil de plomb...

On a quitté les lieux vers 16h, complètement cassés (alcool, fatigue, soleil...), mais bien contents d'avoir passés une telle journée...

En rentrant, Guillaume n'a pas trouvé la force de sortir, tandis que j'ai dû puiser dans mes ressources les plus profondes pour me traîner jusque dans un bar du centre ville pour suivre le match des Hurricanes contre la Western Force...

Et là, aujourd'hui, c'est Music in the Park... On racontera ça demain.

I don't know how we did this... After the crazy party we had during the Dancing in the Street, we did it again on the following day. We slept with the clothes we had, we woke up, and went straight to Devonport, still with the same clothes and still drunk from the previous night...

At Devonport (i was there with Char & Guillaume), there was this Food & Wine Festival. So all the day long we drunk marvellous wine from all over the country, while listening to jazz and pop/rock bands playing in the park... the scenery was great as well (we were next to a beach, with a nice view on the bay of Auckland).

We ended up the day almost dying, because of the sun, the lack of sleep and the alcohol...

That's why Guillaume didn't go out yesterday night. I did, but just to watch a rugby game in a bar (Hurricanes versus Western Force)... I came back early, I was home by midnight, Guillaume was drinking some beers with Char & Andrew, but i quicly went to bed. Today should be fun again, as we're going to Three Kings Park for the Music in the Park, which is a free concert with good nz bands...
